Suspension & Frame
At the heart of the Trail 429 is Pivot's carbon frame and DW-Link suspension system. The design is intended to provide efficient power transfer when climbing while keeping the rear wheel connected to the trail during rough and technical sections.
The Pro X0 build uses a FOX Factory 34 29-inch fork with GRIP2 damper and 130 mm of travel, paired with a FOX Factory Float X rear shock. This combination gives the bike a versatile suspension setup suited to fast trail riding and more aggressive all-mountain terrain.
Drivetrain
The bike is equipped with SRAM X0 Eagle Transmission, a 12-speed wireless electronic drivetrain. Shifting is controlled through the SRAM AXS Pod Controller, while the X0 rear derailleur works with the X0 1295 Eagle Transmission cassette.
