ORCA OE1 Mark II Competition 2S ESC with Reverse Polarity Protection
The ORCA OE1 Mark II Competition 2S ESC is a high-performance electronic speed controller designed for competitive 1/10-scale RC racing. Built around a 32-bit processor, low-resistance FETs, and a newly designed circuit board, it provides precise control and extensive tuning options for racers who want to optimize throttle response, braking, and motor performance.
Designed for 2S LiPo applications, the OE1 Mark II supports sensored 540-size brushless motors and offers a 160A continuous current rating with a 760A peak current rating. It also incorporates polarity reverse protection, an internal capacitor, and an adjustable 8A BEC for reliable power delivery to the receiver and steering servo.

Built for Competitive RC Racing
The OE1 Mark II is designed for racers who need more than a basic speed controller. Its 32-bit processor and low-resistance FET design are intended to provide responsive electronic control while minimizing resistance within the power stage.
The ESC supports Forward/Brake/Reverse, with the factory setting configured for Forward/Brake. Additional operating behavior and parameters can be adjusted through the optional programming equipment.
Extensive Tuning Options
One of the major advantages of the OE1 Mark II is its programmability. Racers can customize multiple ESC parameters using either an optional Bluconn module connected to an Android or iOS smartphone or an optional programming card.
This allows the ESC to be configured to better match the motor, battery, chassis, and driving style instead of relying on a fixed factory setup.
Powerful 8A BEC
The integrated BEC is rated at 8A and can be configured for 6V or 7V operation. This provides the receiver and compatible steering servo with a dedicated regulated power supply from the ESC.
The BEC setting should be selected according to the voltage requirements of the receiver and other connected electronics.
Reverse Polarity Protection
The OE1 Mark II includes polarity reverse protection, an important feature when working with removable RC batteries. It is designed to provide additional protection against an incorrectly connected battery.
However, proper battery polarity should always be confirmed before powering the vehicle. ORCA's manual specifically instructs users to connect the red wire to positive and the black wire to negative, and warns that incorrect wiring can damage the ESC.
Cooling and Internal Capacitor
The ESC features an internal capacitor and comes with a 30mm cooling fan. The fan helps manage operating temperatures during demanding racing conditions, while the internal capacitor supports the ESC's power-delivery system.
The included fan's port draws its voltage directly from the battery according to the ORCA installation manual.
Compact Competition Design
Despite its high current rating, the OE1 Mark II measures only 31 mm long × 35 mm wide × 19.8 mm high. Its compact footprint makes it easier to install in competition chassis where available electronics space is limited.
The ESC weighs approximately 43.3 g including the BEC wire, helping keep additional electronics weight relatively low.

Installation Notes
The ESC connects to a compatible sensored brushless motor using the A, B, and C motor outputs, with the sensor cable connecting the ESC and motor sensor ports. The receiver connection is made through the throttle channel.
ORCA recommends protecting the ESC from crash damage and ensuring that battery, motor, sensor, and receiver connections are correctly installed before operation. Improper wiring or configuration can damage the ESC.
