High Performance 1S ESC with Reverse Polarity Protection
ORCA OE1-1S Mark II Competition 1S ESC with Reverse Polarity Protection
The ORCA OE1-1S Mark II Competition ESC is a compact, high-performance electronic speed controller designed specifically for 1-cell LiPo RC racing applications. Built around a 32-bit processor and low-resistance FETs, it delivers strong current capability while giving racers extensive control over throttle, braking, timing, and other performance parameters.
With built-in reverse polarity protection, internal capacitors, an 8A BEC, and support for sensored 540-size brushless motors, the OE1-1S Mark II is designed for serious competition where precise control and setup flexibility matter.
Key Features
Designed for 1S LiPo racing applications
High-performance brushless, sensored ESC
32-bit processor for fast control processing
Low-resistance FET design
760A peak current and 160A continuous current
8A BEC with selectable 6V/7V output
Built-in reverse polarity protection
Integrated capacitors
Supports multiple programmable parameters
Compatible with the optional ORCA Program Card and Bluconn wireless module
Detachable on/off switch
Supplied with a 30mm cooling fan
Compact housing for 1/12-scale competition installations
Designed for 1S Racing
The OE1-1S Mark II is built around a 3.7–4.4V DC input, making it suitable for single-cell LiPo systems. Its high current capacity provides plenty of electrical headroom for demanding brushless racing setups while the compact form factor helps simplify installation in smaller chassis.
The ESC supports sensored 540-size brushless motors and has a motor limit specified as over 3.5 turns by ORCA's instruction manual and product information.
Extensive Tuning Capability
Racers can customize the ESC to suit different tracks, motors, and driving styles. With the optional ORCA programming equipment, adjustable parameters include throttle response, punch, timing, turbo timing, drag brake, brake characteristics, PWM, and throttle curve settings.
The OE1-1S Mark II also includes preloaded racing profiles, allowing users to configure the controller for different competition requirements without relying on a fixed factory setup.
Reverse Polarity Protection
A built-in polarity protection circuit helps protect the ESC if the battery connection is accidentally reversed. This is particularly useful in racing environments where batteries are frequently connected and disconnected between runs.
Always verify battery polarity and wiring before operation. ORCA specifies the red wire for positive and black for negative connections.
Powerful BEC and Cooling
The integrated BEC is rated at 8A and supports 6V/7V output, providing power for the receiver and connected electronics.
A 30mm cooling fan is included with the ESC to help manage operating temperatures during demanding racing sessions. The fan and internal capacitor arrangement are part of the supplied competition-oriented configuration.
Compact Competition Design
Measuring only 30.54 × 34 × 13.75 mm and weighing approximately 29.3g excluding wires, the OE1-1S Mark II is designed to fit compact racing chassis where space and weight are important considerations.
