The Switchblade V6 uses Pivot's Hollow Core carbon construction to create a lightweight yet durable chassis. Its DW-Link suspension is designed to balance pedaling efficiency with traction and control over rough terrain.
The bike provides 142 mm of rear wheel travel and is paired with a FOX Performance 36 29-inch fork offering 160 mm of travel. The 44 mm fork offset and robust chassis give the Switchblade the stability required for aggressive riding without making it feel cumbersome on climbs or tighter trails.
A flip-chip system allows the geometry to be adjusted, giving riders the option to fine-tune the bike's handling characteristics for different riding conditions. The frame can also accommodate 29-inch, 27.5+ and mixed-wheel configurations, adding further versatility to the platform.
Shimano SLX/XT 12-Speed Drivetrain
The Ride SLX/XT build uses a combination of Shimano SLX and XT components. An XT M8100 SGS rear derailleur handles shifting duties, while the SLX M7100 shifter provides 12-speed control.
A 10–51T SLX cassette works with the 32-tooth Race Face Ride crankset to provide a broad gearing range. This gives the Switchblade enough low gearing for sustained climbs while retaining useful ratios for fast trail riding.
Four-Piston Shimano Brakes
Technical descents demand dependable braking, and the Switchblade Ride SLX/XT is equipped with Shimano SLX M7120 four-piston hydraulic disc brakes.
The braking system uses a 203 mm front rotor and 180 mm rear rotor, providing strong stopping power and heat management for steep descents and extended trail use.
