Frame & Suspension
The Switchblade V6 features Pivot's Hollow Core carbon frame, designed to provide a high stiffness-to-weight ratio while keeping the bike responsive on the trail.
Its refined DW-Link suspension provides 142 mm of rear travel. Pivot developed the latest Switchblade with revised suspension kinematics intended to improve control over rough terrain while retaining the platform's efficient pedaling characteristics.
Up front, the bike uses a FOX Performance 36 29-inch fork with a 44 mm offset, GRIP damper, and 160 mm of travel. This substantial fork complements the Switchblade's aggressive all-mountain capabilities without turning it into an overly specialized downhill bike.
Modern Trail Geometry
The V6 Switchblade has a more progressive geometry than its predecessor. Pivot increased the reach and wheelbase while slackening the head angle and steepening the seat angle. Size-specific chainstay lengths help maintain responsive handling across different frame sizes.
A flip chip integrated into the upper linkage allows the geometry to be adjusted between settings, giving riders additional flexibility when tuning the bike's handling for different trails and riding preferences.

Shimano SLX/XT 12-Speed Drivetrain
The Ride SLX/XT build uses a combination of Shimano's SLX and XT components.
The Shimano XT M8100 SGS rear derailleur handles rear shifting, while the SLX M7100 I-SPEC EV 12-speed shifter controls gear changes. A Race Face Ride 32T crankset works with the Shimano SLX 10–51T cassette, providing a wide range of gearing for steep climbs and fast trail sections.
The 1x12 configuration keeps the drivetrain simple while providing plenty of range for varied mountain terrain.
Shimano Four-Piston Brakes
For braking performance, the bike is equipped with Shimano SLX M7120 four-piston hydraulic disc brakes.
