The SuperMax 25x2 Double Drum Sander speeds up time-consuming sanding tasks by applying two sanding grits in a single pass. It handles planks and boards up to 25 inches wide. This SuperMax 25x2 dual drum sander uses 220V, single-phase power to drive a powerful 5-horsepower totally enclosed fan-cooled drum motor and a variable-speed DC conveyor motor that produces 100 inch-pounds of torque. SuperMax's 220V drum sander also features INTELLISAND technology, which monitors stock density and grain patterns and automatically adjusts conveyor speed to prevent burning and gouging. This SuperMax variable-speed drum sander has a reinforced steel conveyor bed that has less than 0.01 inches of height variance, so every sanding pass is precise, and an abrasive conveyor belt provides a sure grip on raw wood surfaces to prevent slippage or kickback. Tension rollers have height and pressure adjustments, so they hold stock securely and eliminate sniping. The SuperMax single-phase drum sander has self-cooling drums with independent height controls that offer exceptional sanding flexibility, and its metal dust cover has a 4-inch vacuum port that provides superior airflow. This sander has a minimum piece length of 2-1/4 inches and a thickness range of 1/32 to 4 inches.
