Two-Machine Edge-Finishing Solution
The bundle separates the edge-banding process into two practical stages.
The CBC.E applies the edge tape to the panel using hot-melt adhesive. Once the tape has been applied, the RBB.1000 trims excess material and performs scraping to help create a cleaner finished edge.
This setup is particularly useful for smaller shops that want dedicated edge-finishing equipment while avoiding the footprint and cost of a large automatic edgebander.
CBC.E Portable Edgebander
The CBC.E is designed around portability and straightforward operation. It features digital temperature control, adjustable glue flow, foldable legs, and a 1.5 lb. glue pot. Maksiwa specifies a manual feeding speed of approximately 18 ft./min. and compatibility with edge tape from 0.4 to 2 mm thick and up to 3 inches high.
The machine uses low-temperature EVA pellet glue, with a recommended glue temperature range of 130°C to 180°C (266°F to 356°F).
RBB.1000 Edge Trimmer
