Tool is powered by two X2 LXT® batteries to provide more power, speed and run time without the hassles of a cord. Miter saw has Makita built electronically controlled BL™ brushless motor to deliver 4400 RPM for rapid and smooth cutting operation. The Auto-start Wireless System (AWS®) uses Bluetooth® technology for wireless power On/Off communication between tool and optional dust extractor. While the Automatic Speed Change™ technology aids to adjust cutting speed as well as torque during cutting. The X2 LXT® technology efficiently delivers up to 334 cuts per charge in 2x4 SPF and up to 192 cuts per charge in 2x12 SPF lumber using two 5.0 Amp-hour batteries. Miter saw features unique 2-steel rail sliding system to facilitate single slide-glide operation, where as the reduced saw footprint allows operation flush against a wall.
