It has a 1/2 hp motor that achieves speeds as high as 200 surface feet per minute for fast task completion. This Jet swivel head band saw's speed selection allows you to work at a pace that's fast while still maintaining control. The worm gear transmission is sealed in an oil bath to lubricate and protect it for an extended operational life. You can swivel the bench bandsaw's head horizontally up to 60 degrees to make angled cuts in your stock. The blade wheel is supported by ball bearings for smooth, reliable performance. An adjustable material stop allows you to control the depth of the cut and make the same cut without having to stop and measure.
