This Jet adjustable finishing machine is used in production line, wood patterns/cabinet and metal, machine shop or school shop environments. It features a sturdy 1-1/2 hp motor with speeds of up to 1960 rpm for disc and 2850 rpm for belt finishing uses. The Jet 115V heavy-duty finishing machine belts operate at all angles, conforming to curves and circular finishing and grinding operations. The Jet J-4200A 6 x 48 industrial belt and disc finishing machine includes a heavy-duty, one-piece construction steel stand with an adjustable cast-iron platen. It features a removable upper guard for contour finishing. A balanced disc is fully machined and offers vibration-free operation. A deluxe miter gauge comes as standard equipment on the machine, and both compound and plain miters are effortlessly made utilizing the standard die-cast miter gauge. The drums are fully enclosed, and the sanding belt is guarded for additional safety.
