Five-Point Green Laser Projection
The PLS 5G is built around a five-point laser layout rather than conventional horizontal and vertical laser lines.
It projects reference points in five directions:
Up
Down
Forward
Left
Right
The four side/up/down points are positioned at 90° intervals, allowing the tool to establish plumb and square references quickly. The forward point provides an additional reference directly in front of the laser.
This configuration is particularly useful when transferring reference points between floors, ceilings, walls, and other surfaces.
Green Laser for Improved Visibility
The PLS 5G uses a 525 nm green semiconductor laser diode. Green laser light is generally easier to see than red laser light under many indoor lighting conditions, making the reference points easier to identify during layout work.

Automatic Self-Leveling
The PLS 5G uses a fast-settling automatic pendulum leveling system.
The pendulum can compensate for an initial setup deviation of up to 4°, allowing the laser to establish an accurate reference without requiring manual bubble-level adjustment.
A built-in pendulum lock secures the internal mechanism during transport. This helps protect the leveling system when the laser is moved between jobsites.
The tool also provides tilt mode functionality for applications where the user needs to work outside the normal self-leveling condition.
