The PLS Pacific Laser 5G 5-Point Green Laser (Bare Tool) is a compact professional layout laser designed for accurate plumb, level, and square alignment. Five-Point Green Laser Projection
Unlike a traditional line laser, the PLS 5G is designed around point-based layout. Its five laser points provide reference locations in five directions:
Up – for overhead and ceiling reference points
Down – for transferring points to the floor
Forward – for establishing a reference directly ahead
Left – for horizontal positioning
Right – for horizontal positioning
The four directional points are arranged at 90° intervals, making the laser useful for establishing square and perpendicular reference points.
Green Laser for Clear Reference Points
The PLS 5G uses a 525 nm ±5 nm green laser diode. Green laser light can provide improved visual contrast compared with red laser light in many indoor environments, making reference points easier to identify during layout work.
The laser is classified as Class 2 and has a maximum output of less than 1 mW.

Automatic Self-Leveling
A fast-settling automatic pendulum system helps the PLS 5G establish an accurate reference after positioning. The system provides a 4° leveling range, reducing the need for manual leveling adjustments during setup.
The laser also incorporates a pendulum lock platform. Locking the pendulum helps protect the internal mechanism while the tool is being transported between work areas.
A tilt mode is also available when a user needs to work with the laser outside its normal self-leveling position.
