Large 25" x 50" Cutting Area
The HD520 is built for projects that require more workspace than a typical desktop CNC can provide. Its 25" x 50" x 7" XYZ travel gives users room to work on larger signs, panels, furniture components, decorative pieces, and other oversized projects.
The 28" x 63" table provides a substantial work surface while the slotted aluminum construction offers flexible workholding options.
Heavy-Duty Gantry and Motion System
Next Wave CNC equips the HD520 with a reinforced aluminum-and-steel gantry designed for demanding CNC work. Linear rails and guides help support controlled movement, while anti-backlash, wear-compensated lead screws are used on all axes.

Flexible Workholding
The interlocking slotted aluminum table allows clamps to be positioned in many different locations. This makes it easier to secure workpieces of varying sizes and shapes without being limited to a small number of fixed mounting points.

Two Control Options
Touchscreen Pendant
The included color touchscreen pendant allows the machine to be operated directly at the CNC. Users can create a project in VCarve Pro, transfer the toolpath to a USB drive, and load it into the pendant.
This setup allows CNC operation without requiring a computer to remain connected to the machine.
Computer Control
For more interactive control, the HD520 can be operated from a computer using Ready2Control.
This also provides access to Virtual Zero Unlimited, which can map the surface of a workpiece using multiple reference points. The software then adjusts the G-code to follow the actual material surface, helping compensate for bowed, warped, curved, or uneven workpieces.
