Built with a reinforced aluminum-and-steel gantry, linear guides, anti-backlash lead screws, and a rigid slotted aluminum table, the HD510 is designed to provide a stable platform for detailed CNC machining. Large Working Area
The HD510 provides a 25" x 25" x 7" XYZ travel range, giving it enough capacity for a broad range of medium- to large-sized CNC projects. The 28" x 36" work table provides additional surface area for positioning and securing material.
The slotted aluminum table allows clamps to be positioned in numerous locations, making it easier to accommodate different workpiece sizes and shapes.
Heavy-Duty CNC Construction
The HD510 is built around industrial-grade components. Its aluminum and steel-reinforced gantry is designed to provide rigidity, while linear rails and guides support controlled movement along the gantry.
Each axis uses anti-backlash, wear-compensated lead screws, helping maintain controlled movement during CNC operations. This construction makes the HD510 suitable for detailed carving as well as general routing, drilling, joinery, and machining applications.
Flexible Router Compatibility
The HD510 uses an extruded aluminum router mount designed for routers with a 3.5-inch motor barrel diameter.

The router is sold separately. The machine can also be equipped with compatible Next Wave CNC water-cooled spindle systems.
Two Ways to Control the Machine
Touchscreen Pendant
The included color touchscreen pendant allows the HD510 to be operated directly at the machine. A project created in VCarve Desktop can be transferred to a USB drive and loaded through the pendant, eliminating the need for a computer to remain connected during normal machine operation.
Computer Control
For users who prefer interactive computer control, the HD510 can be operated with Ready2Control.
Ready2Control also works with Virtual Zero Unlimited, Next Wave CNC's surface-mapping technology. It can use multiple reference points to map the actual surface of a workpiece and automatically adjust the G-code to follow variations in that surface. This is useful when working with bowed, warped, curved, or uneven material.
