Milwaukee M12 FUEL 1/2-Inch Digital Torque Wrench with ONE-KEY (Bare Tool)
Product Overview
The Milwaukee M12 FUEL 1/2-Inch Digital Torque Wrench with ONE-KEY, model 2466-20, combines motorized fastening, digital torque control, and connected tool management in a compact cordless design. It is engineered for torque-critical fastening applications where controlled tightening, repeatability, and fastening documentation are important.
Powered by Milwaukee's M12 battery platform, the wrench provides a 12.5–150 ft-lb torque range according to the current Milwaukee product specification and delivers accuracy of up to ±2% clockwise and ±3% counterclockwise of full scale within the specified operating range. A POWERSTATE brushless motor handles the initial run-down, helping streamline the fastening process before final torque is reached.
Integrated ONE-KEY technology allows users to customize the tool, manage and track it, apply security features, and record fastening data for downloadable torque reports. This makes the 2466-20 particularly useful for professional environments where torque verification and documentation are part of the workflow.
Important: This is the bare-tool version. An M12 battery and charger are required and are sold separately.
Key Features

REDLINK PLUS electronic intelligence manages communication between the battery and tool.
Compatible with all Milwaukee M12 batteries and chargers.
Motorized Torque Wrench Design
Traditional torque wrenches generally require the operator to perform the entire fastening process manually. The 2466-20 adds a POWERSTATE brushless motor, allowing the tool to run the fastener down before the final torque stage.
Milwaukee states that this design can provide up to 50% faster installation by replacing a hand tool or a two-tool installation process in applicable fastening applications. The adjustable run-down torque feature gives the operator additional control over the motor's output before the programmed torque target is reached.
Digital Torque Control
The 2466-20 is designed to provide clear feedback throughout the torqueing process. Users can select from four measurement systems:
ft-lb
in-lb
Nm
kg-cm
When the programmed torque target is being approached, reached, or exceeded, the tool can communicate the fastening status through its LCD screen, LED indicators, audible signal, and handle vibration. Multiple feedback methods make the tool easier to monitor while working in different positions or environments.
ONE-KEY Tool Management
ONE-KEY gives the 2466-20 capabilities beyond conventional torque wrenches. When connected to a compatible smartphone, users can configure tool settings, manage inventory, track the tool, and activate security features.
The tool can also record fastening events and transfer the saved information through ONE-KEY for creating downloadable torque reports. This can be valuable for applications where installers, inspectors, project managers, or equipment owners need documented fastening information.
Torque Accuracy and Calibration
The wrench is designed for torque-critical applications with accuracy of up to:
±2% clockwise (CW)
±3% counterclockwise (CCW)
The specified accuracy applies from 20% to 100% of full scale. The tool is supplied with a calibration certificate, and Milwaukee specifies that the certificate is valid for 12 months from the date of first use.
For torque-critical work, the wrench should be operated according to Milwaukee's instructions and maintained within the applicable calibration requirements.
1/2-Inch Drive
The 1/2-inch ball-detent square drive is suited to common 1/2-inch drive sockets and accessories used for mechanical fastening. A 4.5° ratcheting angle allows relatively small movements between ratchet positions, which can be useful when working around assemblies with limited access.
