Green Cross-Line Projection
The PLS 180G projects two reference lines that intersect to create a highly visible cross-line layout.
Horizontal Line
The horizontal beam has a ≥180° fan angle, allowing the laser to project a broad level reference across a room. This is useful for aligning cabinets, countertops, wall components, tile, ceiling systems, and other installations.
Vertical Line
The vertical beam provides a ≥130° fan angle, creating a broad plumb reference for walls, framing, doors, windows, partitions, and other vertical installations.
Using both lines simultaneously creates a cross reference that can help establish level and plumb from one setup.
Clear Green Laser Visibility
The PLS 180G uses a 525 nm ±5 nm green semiconductor laser diode. Green laser light is designed to provide strong visibility for indoor layout applications, making the projected reference lines easier to identify in many working environments.

Automatic Self-Leveling
The PLS 180G uses an automatic pendulum leveling system to establish accurate horizontal and vertical reference lines after the laser is positioned.
The self-leveling range is 4°. This allows the tool to compensate for minor setup deviations without requiring the user to manually level the laser.
Pendulum Lock
The integrated pendulum lock secures the internal leveling mechanism during transportation. It can also be used when a fixed reference is required rather than an automatically leveled line.

Bare Tool Configuration
The PLS 180G Z should not be confused with the PLS 180G RBP KIT or SYS configuration.
The bare-tool model is intended for users who need the PLS 180G laser itself and basic carrying/battery accessories. The separate RBP KIT adds accessories such as the RBP5 rechargeable battery, UB9 Universal Wall/Ceiling Bracket, MLB Magnetic L-Bracket, and GRT4 Green Reflective Target. The SYS configuration adds a compatible green laser line detector and additional accessories.
