The Makita GMH04PL4X is a high-output 80V max (40V max X2) XGT Brushless 70 lb. Breaker Hammer Kit engineered for demanding concrete demolition and heavy-duty construction work. It uses two 40V max XGT batteries simultaneously and delivers 53.7 ft.-lbs. (72.8 J) of impact energy at up to 870 BPM.
This kit includes four 40V max XGT 8.0Ah batteries, allowing one pair to power the breaker while the second pair can be charged and kept ready for the next work cycle. Makita also includes a dual-port rapid charger, premium hammer cart, and two 1-1/8" hex demolition bits.

1-1/8" Hex Bit Compatibility
The 1-1/8" hex tool holder is designed for heavy-duty demolition accessories. The kit includes both a 20-1/2" flat chisel and a 16" self-sharpening bull point, providing two useful options for concrete-breaking and chipping applications.

AVT® Anti-Vibration Technology

AWS® Wireless Dust-Extraction Capability
The GMH04 is AWS® capable, allowing compatible dust-extraction equipment to communicate wirelessly with the tool through Bluetooth® technology. The system can automatically activate the connected dust extractor when the tool is running and shut it down when the tool stops.
The AWS transmitter is sold separately.
XPT™ Protection
Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) uses protective seals designed to improve resistance to dust and water. This makes the tool better suited to harsh jobsite conditions, although XPT does not make the tool waterproof or suitable for immersion.
