How the Halo SRL Works
The SRL is designed to remain connected to an approved anchorage while the worker moves around the protected work area. When the worker moves away from the anchorage, the cable pays out. When the worker moves back toward the anchorage, the cable retracts automatically.
This continuous adjustment helps minimize excess slack and provides greater freedom of movement than a fixed-length connection. If a fall occurs while the system is properly configured and used within its approved conditions, the internal fall-arrest mechanism is designed to activate and arrest the fall according to the equipment's rated performance.
