How the Halo Cable SRL Works
The SRL is designed to connect to an appropriate anchorage while the worker moves through the protected work area. As the worker moves away from the anchorage, the cable extends from the housing. As the worker moves closer, it retracts automatically.
This continuous adjustment helps limit unnecessary slack and allows the worker to move more freely than with a conventional fixed-length lanyard. If a fall occurs while the equipment is properly installed and used within its approved configuration, the internal fall-arrest mechanism is designed to engage and arrest the fall according to the equipment's rated performance.
