The Milwaukee M18 500GB Control Hub (2970-20) is the central operating unit for the Milwaukee M18 Modular Pipeline Inspection System. Designed for professional sewer and drain inspection, it connects compatible inspection reels with the viewing device, manages inspection recordings, and provides convenient ways to store and transfer captured images and videos.
With 500GB of internal storage, the Control Hub can save and organize inspection footage directly on the unit. Operators can view inspections wirelessly on the M18 Wireless Monitor or a compatible mobile device, then transfer files wirelessly or through the onboard USB port. The hub also provides line-trace capability by energizing the push cable to help locate the camera head in underground lines.
As a bare tool, model 2970-20 does not include an M18 battery or charger. It is intended for users who already have compatible M18 power sources or are building an M18 Modular Pipeline Inspection System.

The Control Hub functions as the "brain" of the M18 Pipeline Inspection System. The inspection reel supplies the camera and push cable, while the Control Hub handles power, recording storage, and communication with the viewing equipment.
This modular design means the same 2970-20 Control Hub can be used with different Milwaukee inspection reels rather than requiring a separate control unit for every reel configuration.
500GB Onboard Storage
With 500GB of internal memory, the Control Hub provides substantial onboard capacity for inspection documentation. Captured photos and videos can be stored directly on the hub and organized for later review or transfer.

The system supports 33 kHz and 83 kHz line-trace frequencies.
ONE-KEY Technology
The 2970-20 is compatible with Milwaukee ONE-KEY, providing additional control over the equipment used in professional inspection operations.
