Convenient Portable Lighting
The Tele-Lite kit provides a practical way to turn a compatible Honda generator into a portable lighting source. Its folding construction makes it easier to transport between work areas and store when not in use.
It can be particularly useful when electrical lighting is required in locations without permanent utility power.
Ideal Applications
The Honda light kit is well suited for:
- Construction sites
- Emergency and rescue operations
- Outdoor events
- Camping and recreational activities
- Rental equipment
- Temporary work areas
- Nighttime maintenance
- Portable backup lighting
Honda's generator-accessory information specifically describes its lighting kits as solutions for construction, emergency and rescue, recreational, rental, and event applications.
Compatibility with Honda 2,200-Watt Generators
Honda currently lists the EU2200i as a 2,200-watt, 120V inverter generator and identifies it as compatible with Honda's generator accessory ecosystem.
For the light kit specifically, Honda's accessory catalog lists the 08602-Z07-020AH Tele-Lite kit for the EU2200i and the other compatible models noted above.
Important Power-Management Note
The light kit's 500-watt rating is the lighting load, not an additional 500 watts of generator capacity. A Honda EU2200i is rated at 2,200 watts maximum output, so the light kit's electrical demand must be considered together with any other equipment connected to the generator.
When using multiple electrical loads, check both their running wattage and starting wattage to ensure the combined demand remains within the generator's operating limits.
Why Choose This Honda Light Kit?
For owners of compatible Honda portable generators, the 500-watt Tele-Lite Kit provides a straightforward way to add dedicated portable lighting without carrying a completely separate generator or lighting power source.
Its folding design, generator compatibility, and substantial 500-watt lighting capacity make it a useful accessory for both professional and recreational applications.
Compatibility Note: Verify the generator model and accessory part number before ordering. Honda's official documentation identifies 08602-Z07-020AH as the Tele-Lite kit for the EU2200i, EU2000i, EB2000i, and EB2200i.
