A True Road and Gravel All-Rounder
The RAG+ name comes from Road & Gravel, with the “+” representing the bike's ability to go beyond a conventional road or gravel setup.
The RAG+ 3 can be equipped with standard 700C road tires for faster pavement riding, wider gravel tires for unpaved roads, or 650B wheels with larger-volume tires for additional comfort and traction. This makes it suitable for everything from daily commuting to recreational gravel rides and longer adventures.
NS Bikes also positions the RAG+ platform for applications such as amateur cyclocross, fitness riding, and bikepacking.
Lightweight Aluminum Frame
The frame is constructed from AL6061-T6 custom-formed and butted aluminum tubes. It uses an integrated tapered head tube and 142 x 12 mm rear dropouts for a modern gravel-bike configuration.
The frame's revised geometry uses a taller head tube, longer reach, and slacker head angle than earlier RAG generations. These changes are intended to provide a more stable and comfortable riding position while retaining a relatively sporty feel.
A removable rear derailleur hanger is included, and the frame uses a PF 86.5 bottom bracket.
NS Bikes Gravel+ Alloy Fork
At the front, the bike uses an NS Bikes Gravel+ alloy fork with a 15 mm thru-axle. The fork has a 400 mm axle-to-crown dimension and is designed around the RAG+ platform.
The combination of front and rear thru-axles gives the wheels a secure connection to the frame and fork, which is useful when riding rough gravel and carrying additional equipment.
SRAM Apex 1x11 Drivetrain
The RAG+ 3 uses a SRAM Apex 11-speed drivetrain with a single front chainring. The 42T crankset is paired with a Microshift CS-H113 11-42T cassette, providing a wide enough range for both everyday road riding and moderate climbs.
Using a single chainring also removes the need for a front derailleur and simplifies shifting.

Mechanical Disc Braking

The frame is designed to accommodate up to 700C x 40 mm or 650B x 2.2-inch tires according to NS Bikes' frame specification. Because the supplied Riddler tires are listed as 700 x 45C, buyers should distinguish between the manufacturer's listed complete-bike tire specification and its stated frame-clearance recommendation.
Gravel-Oriented Cockpit
The RAG+ 3 uses an NS Flare 31.8 handlebar, with width varying by frame size. Its flared shape is intended to provide additional control on uneven surfaces.
The NS Bikes RAG+ stem is also size-specific and uses a reversible -7°/+7° configuration, allowing riders to adjust the handlebar position to suit their preferred riding posture.
