Product Overview
The Milwaukee MX FUEL™ 1HP 2" Submersible Pump Kit MXF211-1XC is a cordless pumping solution designed for demanding water-removal applications on construction sites and in confined areas. It delivers the freedom to pump without relying on a nearby electrical outlet or a gas-powered generator, making it well suited for trenches, vaults, manholes, and other locations where portability is important.
Powered by a POWERSTATE™ Brushless Motor and the MX FUEL™ system, the pump provides a maximum flow rate of 82 GPM and a maximum head height of 60 feet. Three operating modes—High, Auto, and Low—allow users to choose between maximum pumping performance and extended runtime.
The standout feature is Auto Mode, which senses changing water flow and adjusts pump performance accordingly. It automatically shuts the pump off when the water level reaches approximately 2 inches, helping prevent unnecessary dry running and reducing the need for constant supervision.
This complete kit includes the MX FUEL™ Portable Pump Power Base, 1HP 2" Submersible Pump, FORGE™ XC8.0 battery, Rapid Charger, backpack harness, and wireless remote.

The MX FUEL™ Submersible Pump provides three operating modes so the user can prioritize flow rate or runtime depending on the job.

Auto Mode for Smarter Pumping
Auto Mode is designed to reduce unnecessary supervision. The system detects changes in incoming water flow and adjusts the pump's performance to match the conditions.
When the water level falls to approximately 2 inches, the pump automatically shuts down. This helps protect the pump from continued operation when the water level becomes too low and can reduce wear associated with dry running.
Remote Operation
The included MX FUEL™ Submersible Pump Remote provides convenient access to pump information from a distance. Users can receive notifications about the pump and battery status and manage pumping modes without needing to remain beside the power base.
This is particularly useful when the pump is operating in a trench, vault, or other difficult-to-access location.
Portable Power Base
The kit's MX FUEL™ Portable Pump Power Base supplies power and control for the submersible pump. It also provides the electronics needed for the pump's High, Auto, and Low modes.
The power base features an adjustable backpack harness, making it easier to transport the pumping system around a jobsite. It is also ONE-KEY™ compatible, allowing users to track, manage, and secure equipment through the ONE-KEY™ platform.
Battery and Charging
The kit includes one MX FUEL™ REDLITHIUM™ FORGE™ XC8.0 battery pack and an MX FUEL™ Rapid Charger.
Milwaukee states that the FORGE™ XC8.0 battery provides up to 33% more runtime and lighter weight compared with the MX FUEL™ REDLITHIUM™ XC406, while its COOL-CYCLE™ capability supports high-speed cooling during demanding applications.
Hose and Connection
The pump uses a 2-inch hose connection and features an integrated pump cord and tether measuring 35 feet. The discharge hose should be routed properly to avoid kinks or restrictions that could reduce pumping performance.
