The Milwaukee M18 FUEL™ Automotive Combo Kit (3010-22) combines two cordless impact wrenches to cover a wide range of automotive, mechanical, and maintenance applications. The kit includes a 1/2" High Torque Impact Wrench for stubborn, high-torque fasteners and a more compact 3/8" Mid-Torque Impact Wrench for everyday service work and tighter spaces.
Both tools use POWERSTATE™ Brushless Motors, REDLINK PLUS™ Intelligence, four-mode DRIVE CONTROL™, and Tri-LED lighting. The kit also includes two M18™ REDLITHIUM™ XC5.0 Resistant batteries, an M18™ & M12™ Multi-Voltage Charger, and a contractor bag.

1/2" M18 FUEL™ High Torque Impact Wrench
The 2967-20 is the heavy-duty member of the kit. It is designed for applications where high torque is needed to loosen or install stubborn fasteners.
With an included M18™ REDLITHIUM™ XC5.0 Resistant battery, Milwaukee rates this wrench for up to 1,100 ft-lbs of fastening torque and 1,500 ft-lbs of nut-busting torque. The tool measures just 7.6" in length, helping it reach fasteners in areas where a larger impact wrench may be difficult to position.
Its POWERSTATE™ Brushless Motor provides the driving force, while the patented battery isolation system helps maintain a secure battery connection and reduce vibration transmitted to the battery pack.
High-Torque Control
The 2967-20 features 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL™ with selectable speed and power settings. Its AUTO-SHUTOFF™ mode limits fastening torque to 50 ft-lbs, helping reduce over-tightening during hand-tight fastening applications.
The bolt-removal mode delivers high torque to break fasteners loose and then reduces speed after breakaway for better control during removal.
3/8" M18 FUEL™ Mid-Torque Impact Wrench
The 2960-20 provides a more compact option for fasteners that do not require the full output of the high-torque wrench.
It delivers up to 550 ft-lbs of fastening torque and 600 ft-lbs of nut-busting torque, while measuring only 6.0" in length. With a 5.0Ah battery, Milwaukee lists the tool at approximately 5.0 lbs, making it suitable for repeated use and applications where access and maneuverability are important.
The 3/8" friction-ring anvil allows quick socket changes, while the compact body helps the tool fit into spaces that can be difficult to reach with a larger impact wrench.
4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL™
Both impact wrenches feature 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL™, allowing the operator to select a suitable output level for the application.
The 3/8" mid-torque model offers:
Mode 1: 0–1,250 RPM / 0–900 IPM
Mode 2: 0–1,950 RPM / 0–2,100 IPM
Mode 3: 0–2,575 RPM / 0–3,100 IPM
Mode 4: 0–2,575 RPM / 0–3,100 IPM
Mode 4 also includes AUTO-SHUTOFF™ and Bolt Removal Control. AUTO-SHUTOFF™ limits torque to no more than 35 ft-lbs, while Bolt Removal Control reduces RPM after the fastener breaks free.
The high-torque 2967-20 similarly provides four selectable modes, with a maximum speed of 2,000 RPM and 2,400 IPM. Its bolt-removal mode slows to 750 RPM after breakaway for greater control.
Tri-LED Lighting for Better Visibility
Both impact wrenches use a Tri-LED lighting system positioned around the anvil. This arrangement helps illuminate the fastener from multiple directions while reducing shadows.
It is particularly useful when working underneath vehicles, inside engine compartments, or in other areas where shop lighting does not directly illuminate the fastener.

The included M18™ REDLITHIUM™ XC5.0 Resistant batteries are designed with increased protection against common automotive-shop substances such as oils, greases, and solvents.
