1. Milwaukee M18 FUEL 16 in. Chainsaw
Overview
The M18 FUEL 16 in. Chainsaw is designed for users who need a cordless chainsaw with enough capacity for demanding property-maintenance and landscaping work. Its 16-inch bar provides greater cutting reach than compact pruning saws, making it suitable for larger limbs and wood-cutting applications.
The POWERSTATE brushless motor provides high-performance cutting while the M18 battery system eliminates the need for gasoline or a power cord.
Key Features
16-Inch Bar and Chain
The 16-inch cutting system provides useful capacity for cutting larger branches, fallen limbs, and firewood.
POWERSTATE Brushless Motor
The brushless motor delivers efficient power and helps provide consistent chain performance under load.
REDLINK PLUS Intelligence
Electronic intelligence helps manage communication between the tool and battery while providing protection against overload and overheating.
Variable-Speed Trigger
The variable-speed trigger gives the operator control over chain operation for different cutting conditions.
Automatic Chain Oiler
The automatic oiler supplies lubricant to the cutting system during operation, helping maintain proper chain performance and reduce wear.
Tool-Free Chain Adjustment
Chain tension can be adjusted without requiring a separate adjustment tool, making routine maintenance more convenient.
Chain Brake
An integrated chain-brake system provides an additional safety measure by helping stop chain movement when activated.

2. Milwaukee M18 FUEL HATCHET 8 in. Pruning Saw
Overview
The M18 FUEL HATCHET 8 in. Pruning Saw is a compact cordless cutting tool designed for pruning and limbing applications. Its shorter 8-inch bar makes it easier to maneuver around branches and work in areas where a full-size chainsaw may be unnecessarily large.
The compact design makes the HATCHET particularly useful for arborists, landscapers, grounds crews, and homeowners performing routine tree and shrub maintenance.
Key Features
8-Inch Bar and Chain
The compact 8-inch cutting system is optimized for pruning and smaller branch removal.
POWERSTATE Brushless Motor
The brushless motor provides cordless cutting performance while eliminating the routine engine maintenance associated with gas-powered equipment.
Variable-Speed Trigger
The trigger allows the operator to control the chain speed according to the cutting task.
Automatic Oiler
Automatic chain lubrication helps maintain the cutting system during operation.
Easy-Access Chain Tensioning
The chain can be adjusted as needed to maintain proper tension during routine use.
Compact and Maneuverable Design
The shorter bar and compact form factor make the HATCHET easier to maneuver around branches, limbs, and dense vegetation.
Full-House Chain
The pruning saw uses a chain designed to provide smooth, controlled cutting for pruning applications.

Why These Two Tools Work Well Together
The two tools complement one another rather than duplicating the same job.
The 16-inch chainsaw is the better choice when cutting capacity and reach are priorities. It is suited to larger branches, logs, firewood, and heavier cleanup.
The 8-inch HATCHET pruning saw is better suited to controlled pruning and limbing. Its compact size makes it easier to position around individual branches and work in tighter spaces.
Using both tools allows the operator to select the appropriate saw for the material instead of using a larger chainsaw for every cutting task.
Bundle Benefits
Two Cutting Solutions
The bundle covers both heavier cutting and precision pruning requirements, giving users more flexibility than owning only one saw.
Cordless Convenience
Both tools operate on the M18 battery platform, eliminating gasoline, fuel mixing, and extension cords.
Brushless Motor Technology
POWERSTATE brushless motors provide efficient cordless performance and are designed for professional outdoor applications.
Shared Battery Platform
Compatible M18 REDLITHIUM batteries can be shared between M18 tools, helping users who already have Milwaukee equipment reduce the need for separate battery systems.
Suitable for Professional and Property Maintenance
The combination is useful for landscaping crews, groundskeepers, arborists, contractors, property managers, and homeowners who regularly perform tree and vegetation maintenance.

M18 FUEL 16 in. Chainsaw
M18 FUEL HATCHET 8 in. Pruning Saw
Compatible M18 REDLITHIUM battery pack(s)

Operator documentation
Important: Do not assume a battery or charger is included solely from the words “combo bundle.” Milwaukee sells both tool-only and complete-kit configurations. The exact catalog numbers should be checked to confirm battery capacity, charger model, and accessories.
Maintenance Recommendations
Before use, inspect both cutting systems for proper chain tension, lubrication, and signs of damage. Keep the chains sharp and properly tensioned to maintain cutting efficiency.
Clean sawdust, chips, and debris from the tools after use. Check the guide bars and chains regularly for wear, and follow Milwaukee's instructions for battery charging and storage.
Always remove the battery before performing maintenance, changing the chain, or servicing either tool.
Safety Considerations
Chainsaws and pruning saws can cause serious injury if used incorrectly. Always follow the manufacturer's operating instructions and use appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection, hearing protection, gloves, protective footwear, and suitable protective clothing.
Maintain a secure stance and keep other people away from the cutting area. Never operate a chainsaw or pruning saw while fatigued or when conditions make safe control difficult.
Why Choose This Milwaukee Combo?
The Milwaukee M18 FUEL 16 in. Chainsaw & 8 in. Pruning Saw Combo Kit Bundle provides a practical two-tool solution for users who need both substantial cutting capacity and compact pruning capability.
The 16-inch chainsaw handles larger cutting tasks, while the 8-inch HATCHET provides the maneuverability needed for detailed branch and limb work. With POWERSTATE brushless motors and the shared M18 battery ecosystem, the combination offers a convenient cordless alternative for professional landscaping, grounds maintenance, arboricultural work, and demanding property-care applications.
