The Makita GWT02D 40V max XGT Brushless Cordless 4-Speed High-Torque 1/2" Square Drive Impact Wrench is designed for demanding fastening and removal applications where high torque, speed control, and durability are essential. Its Makita-built brushless motor produces up to 1,620 ft-lbs. of nut-busting torque and 1,250 ft-lbs. of fastening torque, giving it the power needed for heavy-duty automotive, equipment, construction, and fabrication work.
The tool uses a 1/2-inch square drive with a friction ring anvil, allowing sockets to be changed efficiently while helping retain them during use. Four selectable speed settings provide greater control across different fastening tasks, while three forward and three reverse Auto-Stop modes help improve efficiency and prevent unnecessary over-rotation once a fastener has been loosened or tightened to the selected mode.
