V-twin 90 Deg air-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion small gasoline engine with vertical shaft, manufactured by Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd., for general-purpose applications. The FH580V has V-twin 90 Deg design with vertical PTO shaft, cast-iron cylinder liners, and overhead V-valves. The engine is equipped with inner vent carburetor, pulse fuel pump and electronic spark ignition system. The motor uses a full pressure lubrication system with spin-on oil filter and dual element air cleaner. The engine has automatic compression release (ACR) system with recoil or electric starter. It has a 74 mm (2.91 In.) cylinder bore and 68.0 mm (2.68 In.) piston stroke. Compression ratio rating is 8.5:1.
