Makita 18V LXT Multi Surface Scanner (Bare Tool) with Interlocking Storage CaseThe Makita® LXT® 18 Volts cordless multi‑surface scanner is mainly used to detect objects that are embedded as deep as 7 Inch. It allows to cut, drill or core in variety of base materials through penetrations. This product features IP54 weather-resistant construction with rubberized over-mold that assures long lasting life. This product has simplified user interface with multi-detection mode for easy scanning in three parallel surface positions. It is compatible for detecting metals, wood, plastic and shielded electrical wire. The selectable base material mode of the tool makes it ideal for use in dry concrete, wet concrete, wall partitions as well as in hollow blocks. Included LED light, laser guide and a 4 Inch illuminated color display helps to scan in dark spaces. The Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) safeguards the motor and bearings from dust, debris and water and ensures long lasting usage. The rapid optimum charger with inbuilt chip and fan, ensures long lasting smooth performance. Features Star Protection Computer Controls™ which safeguards from excess loading and discharging as well as over-heating. It is suitable for use with Makita® lithium-ion batteries with a star symbol.
